… I hate the bible.
I HATE WHEN PEOPLE ONLY USE THE BIBLE TO THEIR ADVANTAGES. Yes. Leviticus did say that, but it is in the Old T estimate, it also said you cannot wear clothes woven of two fabrics, not to have tattoos, not to eat certian food ect… but with the comming of Christ most of the Old Testiment law was changed or removed. Most of Leviticus is laws (sins) that weren’t needed since Christ came. I hate being one of the very few Christians on Tumblr. I also have NOTHING wrong with gays. We have been over this though, many. many times.
Its just the picking and choosing that aggravates me. It say homesexuality is a sin (it’s debatable that it even says that) in once sentence then like 10 passages later it says that shellfish is an abomination. and that women are subservient to man. etc.
You say you hate when people use the bible to their advantage, thats all the people for prop 8 used it for. The justify their bigotry.
